A whole-school approach to wellbeing,
across Devon.

The Devon Schools Wellbeing Partnership is a universal health and wellbeing resource for all schools in Devon, hosted by Devon County Council's Public Health team. It supports schools in creating environments where pupils, staff and the wider school community can thrive, covering core themes including emotional wellbeing, food, health protection, PSHE, physical activity and staff wellbeing. It's a sister project to Devon Climate Emergency — both commissioned by DCC, both managed through our ongoing partnership with the council.

A practical resource for staff
and a route to accreditation.

A comprehensive resource hub that could serve as a practical, day-to-day tool for school staff across Devon. The site needed custom iconography for the core wellbeing themes, an A–Z topic directory, downloadable resources, and — crucially — a secure accreditation dashboard where individual schools could log in, track their progress across wellbeing themes and work toward formal accreditation status.

Custom iconography, an A–Z hub
and a secure accreditation dashboard.

We designed and built a WordPress website with vibrant, custom-designed iconography for each core wellbeing theme, making the platform visually engaging and easy to navigate. The A–Z topic directory gives school staff quick access to relevant guidance and resources. The secure accreditation dashboard lets registered schools log in, monitor their progress, upload evidence and track their journey toward formal accreditation — all managed through the CMS without developer involvement.

The platform is actively used by schools across Devon and continues to grow as new content and programmes are added. This project, alongside Devon Climate Emergency and Smokefree Devon, demonstrates our depth of relationship with Devon County Council's Public Health team — three projects for the same commissioning team, each with distinct requirements, all delivered to public sector standards.
