A smoke-free generation,
coordinated across Devon.
The Smokefree Devon Alliance is a partnership of organisations dedicated to reducing smoking rates across Devon, with the shared vision of creating a smoke-free generation protected from the harms of tobacco. Hosted by Devon County Council's Public Health team, the Alliance brings together partners from the NHS, schools, fire services, police, housing and the voluntary sector to coordinate action and share resources.
A redesign, a new brand,
and a training platform.
The Alliance needed a complete website redesign with new branding to better reflect their mission and engage a broad audience of professionals, educators and the public. Alongside the website, they required an online training platform that would enable settings such as schools and workplaces to complete structured smokefree training programmes, upload evidence of compliance and track their progress toward formal accreditation.
The platform needed to be accessible, straightforward to use for non-technical contributors, and compliant with public sector accessibility standards.

We're delivering a complete redesign with a new brand identity and a modern, accessible WordPress website built to WCAG 2.1 AA standards. The site includes a comprehensive training and accreditation platform where registered settings can work through structured programmes, submit evidence and monitor their progress — all managed through an intuitive dashboard.
The content management system has been designed for the Alliance's team to maintain and expand the site independently, with new training programmes and resources added as the initiative grows. This project builds on our long-standing relationship with Devon County Council's Public Health team.
